Join in Worship!

At Linden Heights United Methodist Church we are called by God to be living witnesses to the Good News of Jesus Christ by serving as stewards of God's gifts and blessings. For more than 100 years the people of Linden Heights UMC have ministered through worship, learning, fellowship, mission and witness to the community.

We seek to be a Christian community joined together to witness to the love and presence of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, study and service. We are a family in Christ, always excited about welcoming everyone. Worship is central in our life together. Our worship is warm and informal, but also grounded in the Bible and liturgical tradition. We sing old and new tunes with vigor; and we share our joys, concerns and prayers.

Informal Worship begins at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday morning. Ours is a family worship service where we join in singing our praise and thanks to God, unite in prayer, have a special message for the children during worship after which they are invited to Sunday School. The service continues with Scripture, and a meditation on the Scripture and singing in the Methodist tradition.

Sunday School for Children of all ages starts at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday morning.

Traditional Worship begins at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays. We sing the old and new hymns, celebrate as the Choir or the Bell Choir or our youth from the Arts Worship Experience offer their gifts and talents in worship, hear the Scriptures read and preached and share our joys and concerns.

Combined Worship services are held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday several times each year so the entire church has an opportunity to join together in worship. Check this week's schedule on the home page for next Sunday's worship times!
