Our Core Values

Attentive in Prayer

Prayer lies the foundation of all we do. Prayer is not a
substitute or a prelude to action but rather the way in
which God's will is communicated and God's power is
released. We can only rise as high as we are willing to
kneel down in prayer.

Caring in Outreach

Christ wants to embrace all people in the surrounding
community. The church's life is not bound by walls nor
restricted to the names on a membership role. We are
called to listen to the people around us, to understand
their needs, hopes, and disappointments. Through
committed and caring relationships, we can share the
hope of the gospel with others and invite persons to
discover the abundant life Christ offers.

Vital in Worship

The church lives to sing God's praise and declare God's
deeds among the people. We celebrate the hope of the
gospel and the life that is offered to us in Jesus Christ.
With thankful hearts, we worship ways that invite
people into a vital and ongoing relationship with God.

Ongoing in Discipleship

As fellow believers strive together to know and love Jesus Christ, faith flowers and understanding grows. In the context of various groups, persons receive
encouragement, accountability, nurture and support.
Regular opportunities are made available for study,
fellowship and spiritual growth.

Serving Christ in All Things

The church's life is focused on people, not programs. It is concerned with relationships over institutional
maintenance. The church's work is not complete until
persons are able to do the work of Christ. The church
helps each believer find their spiritual gifts and talents and how they may be best put to use serving Christ in our church, homes, school, jobs and neighborhoods.
