We hope you will join us for one (or more!) of our Easter events:
- Saturday, March 23 Community Easter Egg Party @4-5:30pm: Traditionally, we have an egg hunt. With the forecasted rain, we decided to move the festivities indoors. Upstairs, there will be a craft room. Downstairs, there will be a game room. And hopping around, spreading Easter cheer, will be the Easter Bunny! (This is not a drop-off event.)
- Sunday, March 24 Palm Sunday Service @10:30am: We will parade into the church waving palms for our Palm Sunday Service. This service will be in-person and online.
- Stations of the Cross: This interactive art feature walks you through the last week of Jesus’ life. Come at any time within the following windows:
- Monday, March 25 from 10am-2pm
- Tuesday, March 26 from 10am-2pm
- Wednesday, March 27 from 12pm-7pm
- Thursday, March 28 from 12pm-6pm
- Friday, March 29 from 12pm-6pm
- Thursday, March 28 Holy Thursday Service @7pm: Our very own, Pastor Alicia will preach at Arnolia UMC (1776 E Joppa Rd, Parkville, MD 21234).
- Friday, March 29 Good Friday Service @7pm: This service will be offered in-person and online.
- Sunday, March 31 Easter Services: There will be a Sunrise Service at 6am. Please bring a lawn chair and meet us on the front lawn. There will also be a traditional Easter service at 10:30, offered in-person and online.
Every week, we offer a Blended Service which meets on Sundays at 10:30 am in the sanctuary. It is also streamed through Zoom every week. In this service we sing both traditional and praise songs, share our joys and concerns with one another, engage with a sermon, read the scriptures, receive communion, and enjoy music offered by a pianist, singers and handbell ringers. Children are involved in most aspects of the service. Everyone is encouraged to play instruments and interact during the service.

Our Pastor
Pastor’s message:
Hello! I am the Rev. Dr. Alicia Vanisko I have served as the pastor at Linden Heights since July 2014. I have a background in youth ministry, Christian education, music, and counseling. I have a passion for children and youth ministry as well as creative worship. I often include various art forms in worship, Bible study classes, and meditations. I believe that the church is a place where everyone is welcome to worship, study, and receive the amazing life-giving love of God!
My husband and I have three grown children and several cats and dogs. We love camping, being out on the water, playing games, and all kinds of outdoor activities.
